Blended Learning

Blended learning describes the use of different delivery approaches as part of a learning programme. For example the blend of elearning materials with classroom based learning.

KESP uses a unique blend to support learning. It combines:

  • classroom based tuition and discussion
  • elearning including use of audio, video and animation
  • exploratory learning using internet based resources
  • some project work online and in the workplace
  • online and face to face tutorial support
  • peer learning with online interaction between colleagues and other KESP learners
  • options to download audio and video to iPods, mobile phones, PDAs etc.

The KESP blend is unique and exceptionally rich. Its design is based on results of research and best practice to deliver a rich engaging experience.
