Learners

KESP is aimed at anyone who expects to be in the workplace for the next 10 years or more.

It is ideal for those who want to be successful and be ready for the opportunities brought about by changes in the workplace.

Its content and learning outcomes are relevant for a broad range of workers from the factory floor to the boardroom.

To participate in KESP, learners need:

• To range from 18 to 65 years
• Be in employment
• Have a Leaving Cert or equivalent knowledge
• Have basic PC software skills (can use mouse and Windows XP/2000 GUI)
• To be English speaking (though not necessarily first language)

Learners with little or no concept of the knowledge economy will benefit most.

However even business or IT specialists will derive real value from the programme.
