KESP System Requirements
The following are the PC requirements for participation in the KESP course.
Hardware
- Windows PC: Pentium 550 MHz class processor, running Microsoft Windows XP/2000, with 128 MB RAM, 100 MB available disk space
- 1024 x 768 resolution display with 16-bit colour depth (thousands of colours) or higher
- 16-bit sound card or higher, with speakers or headphones
- Graphics card with 16MB of VRAM or higher
- Apple Macs are not currently supported.
Software
- Web browsers (with JavaScript and cookies enabled):
- Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.x
- Mozilla Firefox v2.x
- Macromedia Flash Player 8
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher
- Microsoft Windows Media Player V6.4 or higher
Internet
- Office: 1 Mbps uncontended bandwidth will support 10 concurrent users
- Home: broadband connection with ~0.5 Mbps bandwidth
